Description
The Ziggy Table is part of the Sgrafitto Collection. The lamp has a zigzag sgraffito pattern of lines, with a wonderful rhythm and energy to it. Almost as if the pot itself is vibrating.
Multiple parallel bands of zigzag, stacked close together create a dense chevron field that can look almost woven, like basketry translated into clay.
Shown here in blue/grey, it’s a pattern you can both see and feel, which is what makes sgraffito so beautiful.
All the pieces are thrown on the wheel and the sgraffito hand cut. The making of which is a handcrafted process, every piece will be slightly different and unique. Each table lamp is a piece of collectable design.
Height to top of lamp base 33cm. Width of lamp base at widest point 33cm. Total height of both lamp and shade 65cm (dimensions are approximate as these are hand thrown pieces)
The table lamp is hand thrown on a wheel, no two pieces will be exactly the same, if you wish to order a pair, we will ensure they are identical.
Customisation Possibilities It is possible to have this sgraffito design in other colours.
This is a handmade product with hand mixed glazes, small irregularities are expected and part of the character of the piece.
